Hydro-electric Design Branch, Electrical Engineer. Worked on the design of two powerhouses (Carter’s Dam and Jones’ Bluff). Charged with making complete drawings, specifications and design analysis.
1966 to 1968 – US Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile Alabama
Instrumentation and Control, Electrical Engineer. Work involved detailed design of water quality monitoring stations (approx 15), including give (5) with telemetry and data logging, and various smaller design projects.
1964 – 1966 – US Arms Corps of Engineers, Mobile Alabama
Construction and Operations, Electrical Engineer. Employed in the Junior Engineer Rotational Training Program, consisting of 9 months coordination of design projects and conducting engineering studies, design of lighting and power systems, checking contractors’ shop drawings and submittal data.
